Groups Today — October 22, 2026: Reading the Signal Stack
A calm walk through what the Blackhat alert network surfaced today across SOL, BSC, ETH, Base and Robinhood — and what to verify before you act.
What Today's Alerts Actually Represent
The network was busy again on October 22, and busy is exactly when people stop reading and start clicking. So let's slow it down. Every alert you saw today is a signal, not a verdict. A multibuy cluster means several wallets bought close together. A hype tier means a channel crossed a threshold it defined in advance. A caller ping means somebody with a track record spoke. None of that is a promise, and most memecoins still go to zero. The point of the network is to compress your research time, not to replace it.
The Signal Types You Saw Today
Multibuy convergence. Multiple tracked wallets hitting the same token inside a short window. Useful because it filters noise; dangerous because clusters can be coordinated, and the same wallets that buy together often exit together. Check whether the buyers are fresh or aged, and whether they bought the same token before.
Hype tiers. These are attention metrics, not quality metrics. A token climbing tiers tells you people are talking. It does not tell you liquidity is deep or that the contract is clean.
Caller activity. Callers are tracked for a reason, but a call is a timestamp, not a thesis. Ask what the caller's prior calls did after the call, not during it.
Rescans. A rescan means a token re-entered the filter. Sometimes that is genuine second-wind interest; sometimes it is the same bag being recycled. Look at what changed between the first scan and the rescan.
AI wallet alerts. Pattern flags on wallet behaviour. Treat them as a prompt to look, never as a conclusion. The model sees structure; it does not see intent.
Chain by Chain: Where the Focus Was
SOL. The busiest surface, as usual. Today's network surfaced OA on a Fresh Wallet Buy, GATO on Trending, and Fartcoin on Trending. Fresh-wallet activity is the most double-edged signal on Solana: new wallets can mean genuine new interest, or they can mean someone spinning up wallets to look like new interest. Trending is attention, full stop. Verify holders, mint authority, and whether liquidity is locked before you treat any of it as real.
BSC. Price Surge dominated, with 币安广场, GANG and 年年共建 all surfacing through that filter. Surge alerts on BSC reward volume and velocity, which is exactly what gets manufactured around a launch. Check the top holders and whether the surge is one wallet or many.
ETH. Quieter on the alert side today, which is itself information. When the loudest chains are loud, ETH tends to be where the slower, more structural setups sit. Use the calm to read contracts properly instead of chasing timestamps.
Base. KOL-driven flow and price surges were the theme. Base rewards narrative, and narrative is cheap to fake. Cross-check any KOL call against the wallet's actual history rather than its follower count.
Robinhood. Hype and CTO activity led here, with smart-money exit alerts doing the quiet, important work. An exit alert is not a sell signal for you specifically — it is a reminder that the people who arrived first are allowed to leave first.
What to Focus On Right Now
- Fresh vs aged wallets. Fresh-wallet signals are the easiest to manufacture. Weight aged, consistent wallets higher.
- Convergence over single pings. Three unrelated wallets buying beats one loud alert.
- Exit-side alerts. Smart-money exit channels exist because entry gets all the attention and exit gets all the damage.
- Contract basics, every time. Mint authority, freeze authority, holder concentration, liquidity lock. No alert replaces this.
What to Be Cautious Of
Be cautious of any token where the only thing you can point to is an alert. Be cautious of surge and hype signals arriving together with brand-new holder distribution. Be cautious of treating a rescan as confirmation — it is a re-prompt, not a second opinion. And be cautious of your own speed: the network's value collapses the moment you use it to skip verification instead of to start it.
If you want the definitions behind these terms, the metrics reference is the place to start, and the rules explain how to read alerts without turning them into advice. For a fuller map of what each channel covers, see the alerts overview.
