Groups Today: Aug 14, 2026 — Signal Layers, Chain by Chain
A calm-day digest of what the Blackhat alert network surfaced across SOL, BSC, ETH, Base, Robinhood, and Stable — and what to verify, not chase.
What the Network Surfaced Today
August 14, 2026 was not a screaming day. That is exactly why it is worth studying. The Blackhat Telegram alert network spent the day rotating through the usual signal layers — multibuy convergence, hype tiers, caller activity, rescans, and AI wallet alerts — and the picture that emerged is a market that is rotating, not ripping.
Across the six supported chains, the standout runners were KET (SOL, Big Buy), GARYFREAK (SOL, Smart Money Buy), LOCK (ROBINHOOD, Trending), GWEI (BSC, Trending), TSLAB (BSC, Trending), and FOX (ROBINHOOD, Trending). None of these are endorsements. They are data points. Your job is to pull the threads, not ape in.
SOL: Big Buys and Smart Money Exits
Solana remains the deepest pool of alerts — 27 channels live. Today the notable prints were KET and GARYFREAK, flagged by the Big Buy and Smart Money Buy channels respectively. But here is the nuance: the same network that flags smart money buys also flags smart money exits. If you only watch buys, you are seeing half the movie.
Focus on the multibuys channel (@empiresolmultibuys) to see if convergence is building. A single big buy is noise; three wallets buying within minutes is a pattern. Also keep an eye on graduated and near graduation alerts — those mark the moment a token leaves the bonding curve, which is when volatility spikes. Do not confuse movement with direction.
BSC: Trending Names and Four Meme Progress
BSC had two trending runners, GWEI and TSLAB, both flagged by the Trending channel. BSC also has a unique layer: the Four Meme progress and volume channels (@gmgnxbscfourmemeprogress, @empirebsc4volume). These track tokens on the Four Meme launchpad as they approach graduation. The migrated channel (@empirebsc4migrated) tells you when a token actually leaves the curve.
Be cautious here. BSC trending lists are easily gamed. A token can trend on volume alone, with no organic demand. Cross-check the multibuy and smart money channels before you even think about entry. If the only signal is trending, that is a red flag, not a green light.
ETH: Smart Money Exits Are Loud
ETH had a quieter day, but the Smart Money Exits channel (@gmgnxethsmartmoneyexits) was active. That is worth more attention than most buy alerts. When informed wallets are leaving, the question is not "what to buy" but "what to avoid."
ETH also has CEX funded buys (@empireethcexbuys) — wallets funded from centralized exchanges. That is a signal of intent, but it is not a guarantee. A funded buy can be a whale accumulating or a coordinated rug setup. Use the KOL cluster and FOMO channels to gauge whether the crowd is chasing. If the crowd is already in, the edge is gone.
Base: Fresh Wallets and Private Alpha
Base showed fresh wallet buys (@gmgnxbasefreshwalletbuysr2) and private alpha activity (@gmgnxbaseprivatealphar2). Fresh wallets are double-edged: they can be organic new entrants or bot-farmed sock puppets. The private alpha channel is where the network's curated calls land — but curated does not mean safe. It means vetted by the network's filters, not by your risk tolerance.
Watch the smart money exits on Base too. If exits are spiking while fresh wallets buy, that is a classic distribution pattern. The new money is the exit liquidity.
Robinhood: Trending and Smart Money
Robinhood had two trending runners, LOCK and FOX, and both were also flagged in the Smart Money Buys channel (@gmgnxrobinhoodsmartmoneybuys). That is a rare double signal — when a token trends and smart money buys simultaneously, it is worth a deeper look. But remember: Robinhood is a smaller, less liquid arena. Volume can be thin, and exits can be violent.
The near graduation channel (@gmgnxrobinhoodneargraduation) is your early warning. If a token is about to graduate, expect a volatility spike. Do not assume direction.
Stable: Directory Down, Stay Sharp
The Stable directory is temporarily unavailable. That means no reliable alerts from that chain right now. Do not fill the gap with speculation. If you trade stablecoins or stable-pegged assets, rely on your own verification until the directory returns. Absence of alerts is not absence of risk.
What to Focus On and What to Avoid
Focus on convergence — multiple independent signals pointing at the same token. A token that trends, gets multibuys, and shows smart money buys is more interesting than a token with one loud alert. Verify on GMGN (gmgn.uk or gmgn.fr) before anything else. Check the chart, the liquidity, the holder distribution.
Avoid hype tiers that are only hype. A token that is trending with no smart money, no multibuys, and no fresh wallet activity is a trap. Avoid chasing after a token is already up 5x on a single alert. The network's job is to surface data, not to make you rich. Your job is to filter it.
The Bottom Line
Today's digest is a lesson in patience. The runners are there, but so are the exits. Use the reference on [metrics](#metrics), [alerts](#alerts), and [rules](#rules) to build your own playbook. The network gives you the map; you still have to walk the terrain.
