Build Your Own AI Agent Loop: Observe, Score, Act
Stop chasing every alert. Learn to build a simple observe-score-act loop that filters signal from noise before you touch a trade.
The Problem With Raw Alerts
If you're in a dozen Telegram alert channels, you already know the feeling. Your phone buzzes nonstop. Every surge, every big buy, every KOL call looks like the one that will finally print. So you chase. You buy late. You get dumped on. Repeat.
The fix isn't more alerts. It's a filter. And the cleanest filter you can build without writing a line of code is a simple observe-score-act loop. This is the same pattern professional trading desks use, stripped down to something you can run manually in a few minutes per candidate.
This article is education, not advice. Most memecoins go to zero. The loop doesn't change that. It just stops you from donating your money to the first green candle you see.
Step 1: Observe
Observation is data collection. You gather raw signals from your channels, from on-chain explorers, from social feeds. At this stage you are not judging anything. You are just recording what exists.
Your observation inputs should include:
- Price action: surges, volume spikes, trending lists.
- Flow: smart money buys, CEX-funded buys, multi-buys, single large buys.
- Social: KOL calls, KOL clusters, paid boosts, X tracking.
- Structural: fresh wallet buys, dev activity, graduation status, FDV.
The key is to pull from multiple sources. A token that only shows up in one channel is weak evidence. A token that appears in a price surge, a smart money buy, and a KOL call at the same time is worth a second look.
Step 2: Score
Scoring is where you turn noise into a number. You don't need a fancy model. You need a checklist that forces you to think before you act.
Give each signal a simple weight. For example:
- Smart money buys (+2): Real wallets with a track record are the strongest signal.
- CEX-funded buys (+2): Someone is paying fees to move coins off an exchange. That costs money.
- KOL cluster (+1): Multiple independent calls are more meaningful than one shill.
- Fresh wallet buys (+1): New money entering, but also a common bot pattern. Use with caution.
- Dev activity (+1): Active development is rare in memecoins. Treat it as a small bonus.
- Paid boost (-1): Paid promotions are often exit liquidity. Discount them.
Set a threshold. Maybe you only act on a score of 4 or higher. Maybe 5. The exact number doesn't matter. What matters is that you set it before you look at a chart, not after.
Step 3: Act
Acting does not mean buying. Acting means taking a defined next step. That could be:
- Open the chart on GMGN and check liquidity, holder distribution, and top holder concentration.
- Set a manual price alert for a pullback entry, not a chase entry.
- Size a small test position if the score is high and the chart looks healthy.
- Do nothing and move to the next candidate. This is the most underrated action.
Your action should be pre-planned. If you only decide what to do after the signal fires, you are back to reacting emotionally. The loop breaks.
Why This Works
The observe-score-act loop works because it inserts a delay between stimulus and response. That delay is where discipline lives. Raw alerts trigger your lizard brain. A scoring checklist forces you to use your prefrontal cortex.
It also makes you consistent. You will take the same quality of trades in a bull run as in a quiet week. You will stop second-guessing every entry because you have a repeatable process.
Common Mistakes
- Over-scoring: If every token scores a 7, your threshold is too low. Raise it.
- Ignoring the score: You score a token, then buy anyway because the chart looks nice. That's not a loop. That's a ritual.
- No exit plan: The loop only covers entry. You still need a stop and a target. Without them, you're just gambling with extra steps.
- Too many inputs: You don't need 50 channels. Pick a handful of high-quality ones and stick with them.
Tools You Already Have
You don't need to build a bot. You can run this loop manually with the alerts you already receive. The Blackhat Empire channels are organized by chain and signal type. Use them as your observation layer.
For scoring, keep a simple spreadsheet or a notes app. Track the token, the signals, the score, and your action. Review your log weekly. You will quickly see which signals actually lead to winners and which are just noise.
For the action step, use GMGN to check charts and liquidity. It is the only chart tool you need for this workflow.
The Bottom Line
Memecoin trading is a game of probabilities. You cannot control the market, but you can control your process. An observe-score-act loop is the cheapest edge you can build. It costs nothing but a few minutes of discipline.
Start small. Pick three alert channels that match your style. Run the loop for a week without trading. Just observe, score, and log. Then look at your log and see how many high-score tokens actually went up. That data will teach you more than any paid signal group ever will.
Remember: the goal is not to catch every move. The goal is to survive long enough to catch the right ones. Most memecoins go to zero. Your job is to make sure your account doesn't go with them. Build the loop. Run it. Repeat.
